National Grid have now confirmed where we they are proposing to build overhead lines and underground cables for the majority of the route for a new 拢208m 400,000v Transmission Connection , the proposed 17-mile (28km) connection between Bramford, near Ipswich, and Twinstead in Essex is to be installed close to an existing line. National Grid intend to submit a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate in late 2013.
