Willmott Dixon appoints former EFA director as new education head

Willmott Dixon has appointed former Education Funding Agency director Mike Coleman as its new education sector director.

Mr Coleman was previously the EFA鈥檚 director of programme delivery and oversaw the delivery of around 拢2bn of capital investment a year on behalf of the Department for Education.

Electrical fault blamed for fire at Morgan Sindall's 拢20m GlaxoSmithKline lab

A report into the fire that destroyed an uncompleted GlaxoSmithKline building in Nottingham has said contractor Morgan Sindall had complied with health and safety regulations.

The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service report found that an electrical fault was 鈥渢he most probable cause鈥� of the blaze that tore through the 拢20m timber-framed laboratory last September.
