Robertson Group has reported record profit and a 13 per cent rise in turnover, with its construction division posting growth of 21 per cent.

Carillion wins 拢30m Norfolk wind farm cable deal

Carillion has been awarded the 拢30m contract to design and build the UK鈥檚 longest onshore high voltage connection for an offshore wind farm in Norfolk.

The contractor will design, supply, install and test a twin circuit onshore 132 kV cable for Dudgeon Offshore Windfarm.

It will run for a distance of 47 km from landfall near Weybourne to Necton in Norfolk and connect the subsea cable, which will take the power from the offshore wind turbines, to a new National Grid substation.
