Planning approvals for new houses in the capital rose to 12,293 between the first quarters of 2011 and 2012, according to study by data service 果冻影院 for lobby group the Homes Builders Federation.

The research also found a 10 per cent rise in planning approvals for new homes in England in the same period and a rise of a third between the final quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012.
