Interserve wins 拢140m BBC FM contract extension Interserve has won a 拢140m contract extension from the BBC to provide facilities services for the broadcaster until 2023. The four-year extension will see the firm provide facilities management services across the BBC鈥檚 UK estate, covering 160 sites and around 560,000 sq m of floor space including MediaCityUK in Salford (pictured), Broadcasting House in London and Pacific Quay in Glasgow. Green light for 拢50m Hertford shopping centre regeneration A 拢50m scheme to regenerate the Bircherley Green Shopping Centre in Hertford has been given the green light by East Herts District Council. Developers Wrenbridge and Savills Investment Management will replace the 1980s riverside shopping centre with a development featuring an 86-bed Premier Inn, 4,800 sq m of retail and food outlets and 70 new apartments.
