Plans approved for Waitrose

Detailed plans have been officially approved for a scheme by Peveril Securities Ltd at the former Royal Mail Sorting Office site in Bourges Boulevard at Mayors Walk in Peterborough. This scheme comprises of the construction of a Waitrose supermarket of 3,762sqm with 240 car parking spaces. Urban Edge Architecture Ltd are the architects who designed this 拢3.3 million scheme.

Plans submitted for 拢1.2m supermarket

Detailed plans have been submitted for a scheme by Aldi Stores Ltd at Haddon House in Brickburn Close at the Hampton Centre, Peterborough. This scheme comprises of the construction of an Aldi supermarket of 1,648sqm with 89 car parking spaces. Harris Partnership Ltd are the architects who designed this 拢1.2 million scheme.

Contractor awarded hotel development

Park Plaza Hotels have awarded Gear Construction Management Ltd the main contract for a hotel and commercial units at 628 Western Avenue, London. The scheme comprises demolition of building on the site for the provision of a six-storey building to create a 160 bedrooms hotel and construction of the remainder of the site to provide commercial space over three floors. Works are expected to begin in June 2014.

Developer appointed for regeneration works

After an 18 month procurement process, Notting Hill Housing has been selected as the developer to work in partnership with Southwark Council in delivering the 拢180 million regeneration of Aylesbury Estate which is one of the largest and well known estates in Europe.
