Mitsubishi unveils plans for 40-storey London tower

Mitsubishi Estate London will make an application to build an office-led, mixed-use tower at 6-8 Bishopsgate and 150 Leadenhall Street. The 40-storey tower would also feature retail units at ground and mezzanine levels and a public access viewing gallery on the top floor.

Planning approval for new sports hall opposite Mack

Burnet Bell has been given the go-ahead for a 拢6.5 million sports hall opposite Mackintosh鈥檚 Glasgow School of Art. The Glasgow-based firm鈥檚 scheme, which received more than 20 letters of objection, will sit next to Steven Holl鈥檚 Reid Building at the corner of Renfrew Street and Dalhousie Street.
