A series of high profile contract wins has helped Skanska reach the top of 果冻影院鈥檚 annual contractor league table for the first time.

The contractor brought Kier and Balfour Beatty鈥檚 20-month reign over the annual leagues to an end after securing five deals worth 拢411 million in February.

Recent successes include a 拢330 million contract for the construction management of AstraZeneca鈥檚 new corporate headquarters in Cambridge (果冻影院 Project ID: ). Skanska鈥檚 total annual haul also includes a 拢600 million contract for phase two of the Battersea Power Station regeneration scheme (果冻影院 Project ID: ).

Laing O鈥橰ourke took pole position in the monthly league table after bagging the 拢440 million Westgate Oxford project for joint clients Land Securities and Crown Estates (果冻影院 Project ID: ) and an 拢80 million office scheme for Mosley Street Ventures in Manchester (果冻影院 Project ID: ).

Morgan Sindall climbed to third place, buoyed by a 拢80 million contract to build 600 homes for Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council (果冻影院 Project ID: ) and a 拢30 million student services centre for Cambridge University (果冻影院 Project ID: ).

AstraZeneca鈥檚 Cambridge Biomedical Campus project has seen it shoot straight to the top of the latest monthly client table. The development, which will include a global research and development centre, is expected to complete in 2016/17.

Elsewhere in this month鈥檚 contractor leagues, Aecom is a new entry at the top of the quantity surveyor table after winning seven deals worth 拢544.5 million. Hoare Lee climbed six places to take the number one spot in the consulting engineers tables, while Dixon Jones leads the list of top 20 architects.
