Tenders have now been returned for the 拢200 million framework agreement contract for Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council. Works are expected to commence from 1st April 2013 and run for 4 years. This will be known as the South East Wales Highways Framework. Lots 1-8 are based on geographical boundaries and lots 9-12 are covering the boundaries of the participating authorities. Area A: Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Torfaen, Area B: Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Caerphilly, Area C: Newport and Cardiff and Area D: Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan.
