A select list of contractors has now been selected and invitations to tender will be issued mid March 2012 for the 拢18 million route regeneration scheme for Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. Works on the scheme are expected to commence July 2012 and be carried out over 2 years. This is a road link from the M18 to Robin Hood Doncaster/Sheffield airport, the corridor from junction 3 via the north of Rossington to the airport with a road spur connection into Rossington Colliery.
